“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”

Ansel Adams

About Me

Thank you for taking the time to view my photography website. I am honored to have you here and I hope you like what you see!

Below is a little about me and the history of how I became a professional photographer.

I graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from Santa Maria University in Caracas, Venezuela. This is where I first began my journey into photography and it quickly became my passion the moment I picked up my first camera and peered through a lens.

Many years ago, one of my closest friends asked me to photograph her wedding. Schooled as a documentary photographer, I didn’t know if I could do it. It was a big responsibility for me. Photographing weddings is hard work, but it’s absolutely worth all the sacrifices it requires to be an integral part of such a significant time in a couple’s life.  I took the risk, it paid off and then I fell in love with wedding photography.  Thus, I changed the route of my career. Every time I have the honor to be part of a special wedding I live the moment and emotions with my family of clients.

For Bride’s & Groom’s

I love to learn the stories about how my clients meet and how they became engaged as it often influences my photography of their weeding story. We talk about the wedding day workflow and how they would like their pictures to be captured.

I offer my wisdom from years of photographing weddings and then defer to my clients. I am not there to tell them how their wedding day should unfold, however I do try to steer them in a direction in which I know will work best for them and to document their love story.
